Everybody who works in Boston decided to take a vacation that week. The place was evacuated.


That's what I read and heard. I think NYC can take the convention with a lot less trouble, even with the security. Although I think a lot of New Yorkers will avoid the area because of the bomb threats. Watch what happens around the financial district next week. People who can will stay away.

I see Dean was sent out to accuse Bush of hyping the threat. At the same time the Kerryfolk accused him of not doing enough. Nice double play.
