RE: Todays show

A couple of things struck me about today's show. First, Bob discussed the prevalence of the "money grows on trees" theories. He referenced all of the talk about people taking out mortgages to "invest" in the market; people buying stock with credit cards; people buying stocks based on the charts for a given stock symbol, not even knowing what business the company is in; etc. You know, I know, and Bob knows that this is not a healthy sign. Yet, I didn't hear him say as much, or even hint that this speculative mania does not bode well for the market. What do you think about this?

Second, several of us indicated on Friday that we were anxious to hear what Bob would say about the last crazy week of volatile trading. Essentially, Bob downplayed the volatility, merely indicating that it was a "good week" for stocks. What do you think about this?

Best wishes,

I2
