Is he really? I not only read about that scenario in his book but remember an article to that effect regarding al quaeda prior to 9/11. Clancys last book had the scumbags coming in from mexico to attack malls. I couldnt read on--the thought of innocent women and children dying that way makes it impossible for me to read. Mike PS Another anecdote. A few weeks or so after 9/11, i saw what looked like an arab male taking photos of an important building in lower Manhattan. I looked around for a cop but did not see one. I deliberately made eye contact with the guy. He glared back at me and then sort of disappeared in the crowd as i looked for a cop. In my heart i knew this was no tourist. A tourist would have been uncomfortable with me staring at him. A terrorist with hate in his heart wanted me dead. I cant prove this but i know it. I regret not attacking him. If i had i probably would be writing this from jail or worse yet be dead.
