The noun Muslim covers an universe of ideas and attitudes. I defy anyone to reconcile the 1200 years of Muslim history into anything close to a single coherent ideology. Talk about trying to nail jello...... A bit hard to reconcile that statement with the fact that Muslims preserved much of the intellectual content of the West while the Catholic church was doing its best to destroy it.
