"so why jump all over me?" Because you made the remark earlier (to me, btw) regarding posts about politics. Oh, and your Bush/Hitler post was a bit over the top too, so I couldn't resist. It seems that most all of the "end the politics" posts come out when someone doesn't bash Bush or the country.
