Mephisto, Edwards is always upbeat that's why Kerry chose him. The latter realized after mos on the stump that voters were less than enthusiastic about his demeanor. Unfortunately the VP is just window dressing--lacks real power. Kerry would make a disastrous Pres since he's incapable of making firm decisions. His wiffle waffle strategy would spell disaster for the USA.
