Well Nicky lives in San Francisco but still thinks he lives in Soviet Russia. He continues too view the world the way he did when he lived there. I have butted heads with him on other threads and have tried to drive into him that this is America, a democratic where where we the people and our Govt. we elect follow the live and let live philosophy.

Well one thing I give him credit for. he did not quite understand the meaning of the term "compassionate conservative." He says he heard that term very frequently used by the Soviet Communist leaders . But now he knows for sure how fallacious that term is. He now realizes that either you are a conservative or you are a comapssionate person. You can't be both as it portrays someone who flip flops; compassionate one minute, conservative the next.
