The new alert was a message to the terrorists, and a statement to the American people that protective action is being taken. The truth is that the terrorists had planned to hit the sites discussed. The message to them is a warning that the sites are well guarded , that we have intercepted their latest plans( whether we did or not)and they should reconsider their operations. And if that a lie to the terrorist I am all for lying. Sig
