The Scientist's most recent take on the protein array market:

the-scientist.com

Procognia's tethering technology looks simple and elegant. Protometrix bears watching as it is producing whole proteome arrays and is a part of deep pocketed Invitrogen. Zeptosens, which partners with Qiagen in some areas, is one of the first attempting to tackle the difficult problem of arraying membrane proteins, arguably the most important subset of the proteome. Biacore's long-awaited chip based SPR has throughput issues but good sensitivity. Ciphergen's MS approach is mentioned only in passing.

Nevertheless, one of Aileen Constans' better efforts.

Cheers, Tuck
