I personally think the Constitution was better served without a popular vote component to the selection of Presidents. I would rather the House and Senate decide who they want to avoid a lot of people voting based on 30 sec soundbites on television. People aren't dumb. They don't have time to pour over thousands of documents and figure out who is the best choice for them.
