Substantial homepage revisions have been completed on Dev. It's pretty much the final version now, complete with live advertising. Any non-premium member will have the "Search" box available only on the homepage, and it won't allow searching of public or private messages. Premium members not only can do public and private message searches, they have a search box available the top of EVERY page, where non-premium members see an ad. I'm gradually getting the site to handle the differences between premium and non-premium members. Implemented so far along these lines are: 1. Search availability as discussed above. 2. Non-premiums see ads on all pages. Currently a banner at the top and a 336x280 inside messages. We're doing away with skyscrapers except for the homepage and quotes page. 3. Non-premium members are blocked from sending private messages. 4. Non-premium members can write public posts, but only 3 per day. Lots more to come, including a list of which features are available to which kinds of users, and the ability to upgrade one's account.
