You know these reservist's and families don't complain about their benefits and college funds that they've had for years.

Don't get me wrong this is a hardship on them but it's always been there and everyone knows it but they've ignored that clause because it probably hasn't been used since Vietnam. Same thing with active folks that are being extended. They signed up for 6 year commitments even though only 3 or 4 were active. They've known all along they could be extended. And finally active duty personnel have always known they will get out or retire at the services convenience not the other way around.
