You keep saying that. Keep in mind you are not the target audience for this effort.

We have 27 million veterans in America. 25 million of those veterans and their families are among the very likely voters.

When you see VFW and American Legion spokesmen they are nearly always WWll vets...The rest are usually Korean Vets.
Vietnam vets have been the quiet voice in the past. Now for the first time, Vietnam Vets are motivated. Kerry has a handful of Nam vets. Every other Nam vet I know is voting for Bush. Friends have told me the same.

Let me tell you how big that is. My wife and I vote alike. Our 3 kids and their spouses always check with us before voting. My dad always asks me. I know I can have a strong influence on 8 folks besides my self who always vote.

I believe we are doing some good, perhaps a helluva lot of good. A poll last week shows Kerry has 40% of the military vote. That is a drop of 4% since December. I believe Kerry's 40% is from Vets other than Nam...and they have never heard us speak before so they don't know what we think or even that the charges Kerry leveled against us were phony and false.

4% of 25 million is one million. If each of them influences 4 other voting persons it adds up to 5 million very likely military family votes that have been swung from Kerry to Bush by our effort so far.

You may not feel the effort is fruitful, I believe it is.
