Druss: The PB short system is a separate package from Ford. It is a profoundly simple system, and I think it has some serious flaws. TA is not required, but helpful. No software or link with PB required. You can do it on your own, it's so simple, I could explain it in one more sentence..... In essence, it seeks out the highest flying CANSLIM stocks, and takes "failure" clues from very mechanical tracking criteria. It uses mechanical stops, similar to the long system. Also has an option strategy which seems better than the direct short, but I haven't tried it. My paper trading efforts during this huge bull run leave me with this conclusion: You short a high flying CANSLIM'er in this market and you get whipped, and then stopped out at a loss. I think if you understand O'Neill's "M" analysis, you could better take advantage of the PB during short to intermediate term corrections, and of course, the commencement and follow through of a bear market.
