How did they make it an issue? Byoverturning or seeking to change laws, or by ignoring laws they where sword to upheld while also going against majority opinion. Does it mean every time some one does something they are trying to make it an issue out of it? No. When I drive to work in the morning I am not "making an issue of it". But when a lawsuit is brought to try and strike down a law, or when a law is stricken by a judge, or when a local offical just ignores the law then you have examples of people "making an issue out of it". You could argue that the issue should be raised and even that it should be raised now. You might want to argue that not doing so would be an injustice. But if you argue that and also condemn that conservatives for also fighting the issue at this time then you are being hypocritical. It either is a good time to argue and fight this issue or it isn't. I'll let you pick. If it is a good time then the specific way you have been bashing the GOP is wrong. If it is not a good time then that bashing needs to be targeted at least as much on the left as it is on the right. Tim
