Of course it does not seem Ridge is lying at all. Al Qaeda plans years in advance and it seemed it was currently increasing surveillance on targets referenced in that years old intelligence. The thing to do was to be pro-active and sound the alert. You people are really beneath yourselves, and that is so difficult a thing to accomplish it is magical. It is best to take every alert as seriously as possible, rather than whine about repeated alerts. Being alert and responding to alerts needs to be an accepted part of American culture, lest we get caught on the toilet as we did on 911. Ridge is simply doing his job.
