My point was that his military experience is not
that big a deal in any relative terms.

I don't regard Massachusetts as a particularly "large" state.

Kerry spent barely 2 years as a prosecutor and
barely 2 years as lieutenant governor:

After that he had an underachieving Senate career.

Kerry himself couldn't come up with any
really notable personal achievements (as a Senator)
in his own acceptance speech.

Both he, and other speakers, instead touted his
military experience.

And, as I said, his military experience was likely
exceeded by thousands of other veterans.

His campaign promises could have been made by anyone
in the Democrat stable.

I understand that Kerry's your man.

I just think think he's the wrong man for the job.
He's an opportunist of the worst order, imo.

So, I'm in the ABK camp.
