Cain? No, struck me as an opportunist whose positions depended on the primary polls (kinda like someone else I won't ever vote for;-). That may be too harsh, but I didn't like his tactics and he was a bit far to the right for me as well.

When he lived in Texas, there was talk of him running for the senate from there. When asked his position on abortion, he gave the same answer Johnny gives now. When he got to GA and decided he WOULD run for office, he attacked Johnny on that very issue as, gasp!, a "liberal." Johnny's evil liberal position - the one held by Cain until he filed to run here? He won't support an absolute ban - he'd allow exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother. Shocking!

Now, back to the 4th - what do you know about Catherine Davis, other than that she's a black republican. I just found her website: catherine2004.org
