You have chose to misrepresent what Buchanan said. Essentially, he said that he would have been "dazzled" if he was not aware of Kerry's record. The quote: "If I didn’t know his past record, I would vote for Kerry, based on this speech.” Fortunately, Buchanan is aware of Kerry's record. After uttering that comment he then proceeds to write a column labeling the Democratic convention a fraud. It follows that he thought that Kerry's speech was a fraud.
