Truman: Your discussion of "dunderheads" brings to mind a co-worker in my firm who makes $200K or more, has no savings, and recently came to me (a lowly paralegal) for advice on what stock to buy with the $5,000 he borrowed on credit card. What I like even better is the brokers who cold call him constantly and ignore me (with the high six figure portfolio). That's ok , though, because I get better info on SI than any of these nerds can come up with, and I do my own trades at 20% of their commissions.
