Oh, you should go back and read it, at least, if you are a P.J. O'Rourke fan, he's always good, and he gets a lot of interesting stuff out of Powell. I was thinking that nobody in the real world knows more about zero-sum than Powell, although he doesn't seem to articulate it well. You can't go where he went, see what he saw, do what he did, and not know it frontwards and backwards. He boiled it down to win-win vs. win-lose, which I think really is zero-sum in a nutshell. No?
