I think you miss my point. President Clinton is the one person in the Democratic Party who can not only rally the base but also bring out the voters who would sit on the sidelines.

Do you think Al Sharpton is going to do it. Kerry already has the anyone but President Bush crowd.

President Clinton can support Kerry verbally in interviews but Kerry needs actions. Kerry needs Pres Clinton out on the stump.

I'm a firm believer Hillary wants to run in 08 and if Kerry is elected she's out. So of course publically both will indicate support for Kerry (or else they don't have a chance in 08) but watch what they do not what they say.
