It was refreshing to see Clinton on Letterman last night. How did we go from an intelligent, well-informed policy wonk to the lying, lazy POS Bush?

Bush: increased government spending by 30% in under 4 years!
Bush: Flip-Flopped 3/4 of a trillion dollars from surplus to deficit

Clinton: every year the budget improved until it finally went into surplus.
Bush: every year the budget disintegrated until it quickly went into deficit.

Clinton: actually answers complex multipart questions
Bush: can't differentiate between commensurate and commiserate ---- STILL!
