This doesn't have anything to do with Aware. 3Com has some sort of
deal with Com21 for cable modems and USR announced at the NCTA show
that they'd be producing MCNS compliant cable modems. MCNS does not
use DMT or DWMT. To my knowledge, no one is using Aware technology
for cable modems.

I'm not negative on Aware. I just don't think that they have anything
to do with HFC cable modems.
