OT/ I was reading the other day about that lighter manufacturer in China. Costs of $1 ea, sells for $25ea. As he probably doesn't have to worry about healthcare costs, social security etc for his workers, with a margin so huge, (I'm sure $25 is not the wholesale price he gets) he is certainly well-positioned to weather higher energy prices. Just like America's 'punitive' furniture tariffs of a few hundred percent, he probably wouldn't feel a similar energy tariff of a few hundred percent but since his final market is places like the UShe will likely feel it in his final sales numbers. Even then, he could lower prices a fair bit...
