Let all of us who read this thread have you give us your take on the issues I raised on this post. Message 20380494;
Issues? Do you mean "I didn't see anyone say that he signed up and he did not show up"? Well, since that comment has no clear relation to the post to which you were responding, and otherwise makes no sense, I'm not sure what you want me to respond to.
Maybe you mean this? "if these are SwiftBoat folks..." Are you suggesting they aren't?
Re what were they doing then when he was being considered for the awards etc. Why did they not speak up then and why now?, I think they've been asked that and generally have drawn a distinction between their evaluations of his skills as an officer for four months in Vietnam and his self-serving and misleading statements, as well as his behavior, after he returned from service. There are, of course, some who question whether all of his purple hearts were warranted and others who say, effectively admitting the point about his injuries being minor, that many service men received purple hearts for similar injuries. In any case, whether he deserved them or not is a matter of opinion, not a matter of fact. The only facts are that he received them. As for the other medals, I have not looked into the matter, so I have no opinion on it.
Finally, re "You think all others who got these award were not worth the award since the Pentagon could be bluffed into giving these awards?", that also does not follow logically from the post to which you were replying. Lacking the time and interest in investigating past conversations you have had with Wolff to divine its meaning, I can only note that it appears to me to be a nonsensical question.
