Wednesday August 04, 2004--The latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows the race for the White House is tied once again--Senator John Kerry and President George W. Bush each attract 46% of the vote. The Tracking Poll is updated daily by noon Eastern.

The last time the candidates were tied was the morning of July 26--the day that the Democratic National Convention began.

Bush is the choice for 88% of Republicans, 13% of Democrats, and 41% of unaffiliated voters. Kerry is preferred by 81% of Democrats, 9% of Republicans, and 42% of unaffiliated voters.
