OMCT: Positive Data re BioscanIR(R) System Published

OmniCorder Technologies, Inc. (OMCT) announced that its BioScanIR(R) System was the subject of a recent study published in Physics in Medicine and Biology. This study succeeded in independently verifying the ability of the BioScanIR(R) to detect cancerous lesions of the breast by measuring minute oscillations in passively emitted infrared photons. This method, which uses no radiation, contrast agents or breast compression, quantitatively studies and characterizes the affect that breast cancer has on changes in local tissue blood perfusion. By generating maps of these changes the researchers were able to distinguish between healthy and cancerous breasts.
