Bill, Do you have the original quote of hoffman saying they didnt serve with kerry but were 50 yards away when he saved rassman. In the balloon juice.com, there are no quotes around it. As i understand it kerry folks said he was under fire and some others on other boats said there was no fire. Is the crux of the dispute? If so i will trust the guys on the boat. Perhaps the others were 100 yards away and the wind was blowing the other way or they hate kerry so much becasue of what he did when he got home that they have selective, collective memories.
