One result of the recent conflicts and military spending is a great improvement in the VA facilities.

I had to visit the Fort Worth VA outpatient facility today for routine inspection. All is much better organized, better paper processing, no wait for medicine pick up( they ship it).
Despite being 1/2 hr late due to minor car problem, instead of getting chewed out I was second in line.
They will be moving the psychiatric ward to a new building shortly.

Altogether, IMO, a much greater respect for veterans of all ages, and inspired work by the employees.

One thing that can not be disputed is the bravery and dedication of those who fight and stay in Iraq. The debate revolves around right or wrong, and whether the end is worth the cost.
Politicians are fair game, but there should be a penalty to pay by those disparage and discourage our troops.
