I do not believe it is proper to denigrate Mr. Kerry' service......just as I did not believe the "AWOL Bush" nonsense was proper. There are plenty of other reasons why I believe John Kerry is not the right choice for the WH at this time...... but arguing about what happened is SE Asia thirty years ago means bupkus....as far as I am concerned. Both Bush and Kerry were honorably discharged. That should be the end of that inquiry.....I also happen to think this is a mistake (politically) and could backfire.....and also feel these tactics do little to raise the tone of what should be an important debate.... JLA PS. I do not beleive it is out of bounds to attack kerry for his POST service behavior.....which was unconscionable....and should make any real veteran puke....
