In Kerry's defense, he speaks about working with our allies. The UN is not our ally. NATO would be. THe whole slamming of the French thing, when you look back, was absolutely ridiculous. Clearly, the concerns of the French were correct. WHether that should have stopped us from invading Iraq is another question. But,instead of arguing that their concerns were not enough to stop us from invading, we ridiculed them. That was horrible foreign policy, IMHO.
