Good point Gottfried. Schaeffer has gone bearish in his outlook lately. That is actually a good thing for the bulls. We need more bearish investment writers. We did not see a VIX of 100 last time even though that was his expectation. Heck, for all we know his expectations may be for a VIX > 120 at the next bottom. What I would suggest to you though is that a cross over where we see more bears than bulls in the Investors Intelligence Poll would be a great sign of a bottom forming. That and Volatility Indices at, or near, previous long term highs would be highly indicative of another long term bottom. Thanks for your input. RtS
