Clelamd got a friendly grenade that dropped from a buddys belt i think. Does that make his service bad? Did they have a right to besmirch him? Anyone in vietnam who did his duty and received medals etc. shouldnt get blasted this way. I saw the ad tonite and it was a disgrace. These old farts are all pissed off at kerry for what he did after the war. Now they see him as reckless, too free with the lighter, a killer of farm animals. Back then burning villages and killing farm animals in a hostile village was the policy. This is all out of bitterness that a man they consider a turncoat is running for president so they spin the facts now in a way that they didnt when they served with him. I believe the guys on the boat who knew first hand the kind of soldier kerry was. mike
