The spirit of censorship is healthy in the democrat party.

There are some 8 million living Vietnam era Vets.

Many have been and continue to be disgusted with the political process. Too many have not been voters in the past. I believe the Dems want to keep it that way.

I have seen two straw polls of Vietnam Vets to measure support for Kerry. Both measured 99:1 against Kerry. In addition there is obvious and mounting anecdotal evidence that disgruntled Vets want to have a say this time and they plan to vote. And they are getting 100% support from their families in this effort.

Certainly the Dems are aware of this. The DNC has little choice but to try to slam the door shut on them. What they don't seem to understand is that these Vets had the door slammed in their face before. This time, they are going to beat the door down.
