Two sides of the same coin. The militaristic Dems of the 1960s who got us into Viet Nam are now Republicans. I'm talking about politics in the early 21st century. Clinton did invlove us in some military operations, but nothing like full blown wars like the Gulf War or Attack on Iraq. Clinton probably would have focused more on domestic issues, and less on the military, if there weren't so many damn conservative hawks he had to contend with. In any case, Clinton didn't allow our military to be used as a blatant tool of the oil interests.
