Well, I have been thinking similar thoughts but in a different direction. So let's take this test:

(1) I never voted for a Republican
(2) I think my taxes are wasted on corporate welfare.
(3) I think the government should stay out of people's bedroom.
(4) I think Bush has reduced personal liberties more than Osama ever could.
(5) I don't believe in shoving my "values" on to others. Live and let live is my motto.
(6) I support a level playing field for all people regardless of wealth. I think the American dream is about the best (and not the most fortunate) rising to the top.
(7) I compare American teen pregnancy rates (the highest in the developed world at 97/1000) to Dutch's (6.9/1000) and think that at 14 times lower, may be the Dutch are doing something right.
(8) I don't think it is good keep my head inside my cocoon; learning other languages is good for us.
(9) I want a better world for all rather than its domination by few.
(10) I believe in compassion and humanity.
(11) I make my policies based on science rather than ideology and prejudice.
(12) I enjoy getting to know the local shops and chat with the shopkeepers.
(13) I am not proud of my ignorance; I frequently recheck my facts and values rather than listening to echoes of my voice.
(14) I am appalled at the shallowness of the 11pm entertainment dubbed as news.
(15) I am educated beyond my schooling.
(16) I want clean environment.
(17) I think freedom is for the people and they should come before corporations.
(18) I don't think it is immaterial that Osama is at large while we are tied up in Iraq.
(19) I am sick of ignorance wrapped in the flag shoved into my face.
(20) I think for myself.
