Bin Laden had nothing to do with that 1,000,000 Iraqi death number. It was in fact researchers from Havard University who visited Iraq in the mid 1990s (long before Bin Laden entered the American psyche) that determined around 100,000 Iraqis were dying each year from the sanctions. Ten years, 100,000 deaths per year equals 1,000,000.
