I'm all for fighting terrorism. I live outside NYC, the last thing I want is more terrorism. I was also very emotional about the terrorism issue after 9/11, then my wife clued me into the fact that my chances of dying due to terrorism is far less than other ordinary means of dying. I believe the statistic she cited was lighting, you're actually more likely to die in the U.S. from a lighting strike than from a terrorist act.

Let's fight the good fight against terrorism, but not neglect other problems along the way.
