M1 (I used to carry one of your namesakes), you're running perilously close to bringing that dreaded word "politics" into the thread, esp. when you talk about dumbed-down education. That'll get you several bonks on the head, verbally if not literally. So to divert things a tad I suggest you all (y'all, Greg) pick up the non-fiction best seller, "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" - around $10 at Costco, maybe a few pence more elsewhere. It begins with an anecdote about a panda having had a sandwich at a restaurant. After eating it he pulls out a revolver, fires 2 shots (but hitting no one) and is about to leave when the waiter asked "why". The panda answers "I'm a panda, look it up" as he stomps out. Since the book was written by an Englishwoman it's as much a commentary about the Brit education system as it is ours. Quite funny, too - unlike the market of late. Dee Jay
