Folks who failed to heed the tape(moi included) now see why. The next move will be determined on whether we are headed into recession or this is just a stumble. AG on tuesday when he raises rates better take the true inflation situation into account. There is little further rate increases can do to solve commodity based inflation based on oil(terror, ruskys, saudis, chinese consumption). Make the rate increase and then say clearly, and unequivocably no mas to rate increases until next year or at least until after election. Give the market somothing clear to work with. Problem now is deflation and recession again, not inflation. There is no wage inflation at all from what i can see. mike

PS i am in the stumble camp, how about you? We could use a reason to break the price of oil--would help greatly
