According to the latest update from Toyota in the Wall Street Journal today Toyota hopes to sell as many as 300,000
hybrid vehicles next year. The figure keeps growing.

I'm surprised to see no references made to hybrid demand
for Europe, Japan and the rest of the world in light of the extremely high cost of fuel, coupled with serious pollution problems.
