I once started a new business with a loan to it from me. I repayed the loan to me first before i ever showed income, although initially my business was quite profitable.
Other folks work for cash. I pay a cleaning person $75 a week for four hours of cleaning. Dont think any of it is reported. She does 2 homes per day/ 6 days per week. She nets $150 per day X6= $900/week. If she were on someones payroll thats the equivalent of about $1500 per week/75k per year. There are thousands and thousands of folks in new small business and in cash business who are under the radar. FWIW. Mike
