1. Did you think we would find even 140,000 troops insufficient, as we are finding out now?

2. Did you think that our troops would keep on getting killed on a daily basis, as is happening now?

3. Did you think it will continue to cost us a billion dollars every week, as is happening now?

If you did, then you are in a microscopic minority among the pro-war folks, because most of them had thought and argued otherwise. Those who were against the war had foreseen most, if not all, of these.
