No, BEARX preserved value much better than the other bear funds during what some of us still perceive as a huge bear market rally. Tice has remained faithful to his declared investment strategies. Anyone who thinks he is more intelligent and better able to predict the future of the markets has been free to sell his funds at any time. Anyone who expects infallibility for all time periods from a fund manager is deluded.

Some months ago I did sell much of my own BEARX holding and bought RYVNX, and just two days ago sold the rest in my IRA account and bought GRZZX (a short term mistake, it appears).

But I am keeping an account I manage for my daughter entirely in BEARX and Tice's other fund PSAFX.
