What I claimed initially (back in 2001..2002) was that the hijackers were Tajik mercenaries under the command of Ahmad Shah Massoud... I also fell for the "suicide crashes" hoax but my theory was that the hijackers were spurred into the suicide crash option by the (treacherous) assassination of their leader, A.S. Massoud, on Sept 9, 2001.... The possibility that the US authorities would just doctor all the video evidence pertaining to the WTC crashes didn't cross my mind --until Raymond Duray convinced me that the WTC towers were pulled down with planted explosives... That clue triggered the wholesale overhaul of my Russian/Israeli/French conspiracy theory. Gus
