John, I saw your recommendation for VGZ on the IVV thread, but thought I should take up discussion on it here. It does have everything I like in a metal, but the large number of shares leave me cold. The company even address its larger number of shares as "increases liquidity", a little difficult to swallow IMO. I suspect investing in this stock is just a proxy on the metals, but wouldn't a gold fund (ASA etc.) do that? Help me here please.
