SI, is for the most part, very right wing, politically speaking. That is my experience from being an active member here for over 7 years. Most posters are extremely biased and at times very bigoted from a conservative point of view. To be sure, there are very liberal, dogmatic, closed minded posters here too.

The value of SI lies in its fundamental tech analysis. SI would be the last place in the world I would come to for political analyses.

Politics does influence the stock market so there is no way to keep it completely off limits on these message boards. However, IMHO, it has gotten way out of hand and has taken SI away from its original purpose.

In theory, I support Ralph Nader, who I consider to be a Great American. But I'll vote for Kerry. I want to see the USA out of Iraq and provide quality Healthcare to all Americans. And yes, I think all Rich Americans and Multi-National Corporations should fund the expense.

Quality Healthcare is a Human Right like Freedom of Religion.
