This time is different? Actually, my best guess is that without the Bush credit card tax cuts (coupled with the Feds ultra-low interest rates) the recession would have been deeper and shorter. I've got a feeling we are going to limp along for year after year because of Bush.

That is unless there is a real oil disruption, then things really break bad. If al Qaeda were smart, they would go after the oil infrastructure, not business buildings. That would muck things up good at this point in time, for everybody.
