Well, Ann, I wouldn't describe it as stubborn but its ok with me for you to view it that way. The public does not elect a vice president. We elect a president. I doubt very seriously that one inclined to vote for Bush will turn around and cast his vote for Kerry because Bush insists on keeping his winning team intact for the forthcoming battle. Watch the debates when the VP's square off against each other. Then come back and tell me that the public prefers Edwards to Cheney.
